The Majlis Kite School
Our kite school is on Shela beach, one of the best spots in Kenya and considered among the ten most beautiful beaches in the world. Transfers from the hotel take about 5 minutes by boat and can be arranged at any time. The spot is wide and quiet, with a sandy bottom and no coral, which makes learning easier and safer for beginners and advanced riders alike.
Best of all, the wind is reliable all year round; for over 70% of the year it blows 12 to 20 knots. From July to the end of September it blows all day from early morning to sunset, and from late November to the end of May it picks up around 11am and keeps going into the late afternoon.
