Around Lamu Island By Boat
Lamu Island faces the Majlis hotel. Depending on the weather, the trip around it can be arranged clockwise from the open sea or by following the channel between the mainland and the island. The boat stops on the beach at Kizingo Point, and on the way back there is the option to visit the Matondoni or Kipungani villages. It is typically organized by speed boat, though our dhow sailing boat can also be used. A half day trip of up to 3 to 4 hours, with a speed boat and captain provided. A barbeque lunch can be arranged on request.

Its main attraction is the tidal pools and the snorkeling and diving pools on the eastern side of the island. We can organize a boat trip with a picnic lunch. This is a full day trip, about one and a half hours each way by boat, and fishing can also be organized along the way.
